The Thymus Tap: Activating Your Body's Happiness and Immunity Centre

Thymus gland function, shrinkage with age, T-helper cells, pandemic vulnerability, Bach rhythm tapping technique, affirmations, best timing.

The thymus gland is located behind the breastbone and is responsible for producing T-helper cells, which are critical to immune function. In teenagers, the thymus weighs about 30 grams. By age 75, it has shrunk to about 5 grams, which is why elderly people are more vulnerable to infection and illness. This shrinkage is not inevitable; it can be slowed or even partially reversed through regular thymus activation. The thymus tap is a simple technique: using three fingers, gently tap the centre of your chest (about 3 inches below the collarbone) in a rhythm of three taps followed by a pause, creating a 3/4 time signature like a waltz. Do this for 1-2 minutes while repeating affirmations like 'I am healthy and strong' or 'I am happy and alive'. The technique is best done before 4 PM, as it energizes the system. Regular thymus tapping strengthens immunity and enhances the capacity for joy and presence.
